THE ART OF FLURE

For the creative at heart, ordinary was never enough.

I couldn’t find a candle that belonged in an art gallery and smelled like a luxury fragrance.

Everything seemed to fall into one of two categories: beautiful objects with forgettable scents, or candles that smelled like sugar and looked like every other candle on the shelf.

So I created Flure.

A candle designed to be experienced as both art and scent.

WHERE ART MEETS SCENT

Flure was born from a love of contemporary art, fashion, interiors and the details that make a space feel entirely its own.

We believe the things we choose to surround ourselves with should do more than fill a room.

They should inspire us.

That's why every detail of Flure is considered, from the sculptural form, the texture, the fragrance, the way it catches the light, the way it sits within a space and, ultimately, the way it makes you feel.

Nothing is ordinary by accident.

We wanted to create something that felt less like traditional home fragrance and more like a piece of art.

Something you would want to display before it was ever lit.

Something with a fragrance as considered as its design.

Something that could become part of your space rather than simply sit within it.

Because a candle should be more than something you burn.

When the flame goes out, the art remains.

Still beautiful.
Still part of your space.
Still worthy of being admired.

THE BEGINNING OF FLURE

Flure began in 2022, in a small spare bedroom in New Plymouth, New Zealand.

What started as a creative outlet alongside my full-time career quickly became an obsession.

For six months, I tested and blended hundreds of fragrance combinations, learning the intricacies of candle making and searching for scents that felt distinctive, sophisticated and unexpected.

At the same time, I was developing the visual language of Flure, drawing inspiration from my love of high-end fashion, contemporary art and modern design.

I didn't want to simply make candles. I wanted to create a world around them.

From the fragrance story to the vessel, from the unboxing experience to the way each piece lives within your home, every detail became part of the creative process.

What began in my spare room became Flure.

The idea behind Flure is simple:

Beautiful things should have a life beyond their original purpose.

We call this forever art.

When the final flame has burned, the experience doesn't have to end.

The vessel remains - a sculptural object for your shelf, your coffee table, your bedside or wherever you choose to let it live.

Because the best pieces don't simply occupy a space.

They become part of it.
